Also interesting was the session “EU funded food research projects”. A European project to follow is the MUSE-Tech project. In this project three are on-line sensor technologies are integrated into a multi-sensor device and can be applied during the brewing process, the production of bread and the deep-frying of potato chips. The sensor technologies used are ‘Photo Acoustic Spectroscopy (PAS), “Quasi Imaging UV-VIS spectrometry”, Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS).
